Gunzilla Games – Principal Level Designer

I am designing open-world locations for ‘Off The Grid’ – a 3rd person battle royale / extraction shooter mix out on PC, PS5 and XBOX Series X/S (using Unreal Engine 5).

Ubisoft Düsseldorf – Lead Level Designer

I lead a Level Design team working on ‘Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR’ for Meta Quest 2. We designed the ‘Ezio’ missions set in Renaissance Venice and Monteriggioni. My main duties consisted of managing the team, giving feedback, facilitating collaboration with other disciplines and making sure that the goals by our directors were met/the vision was achieved. At its peak size the team consisted of 10 Level Designers and Technical Level Designers.

I co-founded the indie game development studio “Exit Strategy Entertainment” with 3 partners. We developed a 3D Jump’n Run in Unity for PC, Mac, XBLA & PSN called “Pirates of New Horizons” and the puzzle game “Planet Buster” for PC, Mac, iOS & Android.

My studies included a 6-months internship in the Marketing & PR department of NOE. I assisted the European Nintendo DS Brand Manager and Brand Executive in planning and execution of marketing campaigns (Nintendo DSi launch, Pokémon Gold & Silver, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, Walk With Me and others).

I created levels for the AAA PC First-Person-Shooter “Crysis” (metacritic: 91) from pre-production to release. I took ownership of 2 singleplayer missions, contributed to the “vertical slice” version of the game and assisted in the early stages of three other missions
